In the broad market of mobile machinery, proportional hydraulic valve groups are widely used and state of the art. Machine builders rely on either PWMi or PVG proportional valve technology.
In addition to controllable valves, a variety of standard "black/white" valves are often used.
With central control systems, powerful outputs are often in short supply and depending on the option expansion, it is necessary to change the existing control system to the next larger one. Alternatively, IO expansion modules have to be used in the control cabinet. However, that results in constantly adjustments with regards to the machine control cabinet and wiring harness.
So the xtremeDB fieldbus module family is the ideal solution for cost-efficient option management. Our high-performance, fully encapsulated PWMi or PVG output blocks can be mounted near the hydraulic block and guarantee standardization of the entire electronics design.
The blocks are robust, media resistant and durable and are successfully tested to IP69K protection.

a) xtremeDB PWMi CAN IO Module with DT-4 connection technology
The PWM(i) block is configurable and offers 16 standard outputs (4A) or 14 PWMi outputs. 2 standard outputs can be even operated as 10 A high current outputs. The total current of the block is 52 A.
You can choose between two field bus protocols - either CANopen or SAE J1939.

b) xtremeDB PVE CAN IO Module- ratiometric output block with DT-4 connection technology
The PVG block is also freely configurable and provides 6 PVEO standard outputs (3A) or 8 proportional outputs with diagnostic monitoring
for controlling proportional valves (PVEA, PVEH, PVES) with closed loop control. The total current of the block is 26A.
For SAE J1939 networks the block is available from stock.
