CAN IO modules - Center of decentralized installation

The electrical installation between control and sensors / actuators, takes place in mobile machines typically über terminal boxes and cable bäume. The controllers used have few, but high-pole connection plugs. In terms of expandability and option management, there are clear limits to classic installation systems.

The center of the DATA PANEL installation solution are fully encapsulated CAN I/O modules in protection class IP67 / IP69K with the proven 4-pole DT connection technology. They create space at the controller, replace terminal boxes and standardized cable harnesses.

The IO modules of the xtremeDB product family are available with the SAE J1939, CANopen or CAN Layer 2-B fieldbus protocols.

The robust CAN I/O modules offer eight DT slots for input or output signals and can be individually parameterized. Sensor signals can be read in via digital inputs, analog inputs, or frequency inputs / meter inputs. Digital outputs, pulse-width modulated PWM outputs or PWMi outputs with current control or ratiometric Danfoss PVG outputs are available for valves and other actuators.

With xtremeDB, series machines benefit from a modularly designed, pluggable expansion level on the now standardized wiring harness. Option management, customer wishes and future function expansions can be mapped much more easily at once. Smaller mobile machines that are equipped with a display control alone can be easily expanded with full-fledged inputs and outputs using xtremeDB CAN I/O modules.
